This weekend the 5th of September marks the SWBLGrand Final.
Congratulations to the Stealers & the Jets who are fighting it off for the hotley contended SWBL cup.
Grand final kicks off at Moore Park from 12pm so come down and support your friends, and other teams as they start the battel for the magic SWBL cup!
Also for the diaries Saturday night 25th September SWBL farewells the 2010 season with one last party - following the League AGM.
So keep the date free!
Since 1995, the League has provided Sydney women with the chance to play baseball in a sociable, friendly environment with a healthy dash of competitive spirit thrown in for good measure. Now in its sixteenth season, the League will have a number of teams participating in weekly games, training sessions and a multitude of excellent social events. The Sydney Women’s Baseball League is the longest running women’s baseball league in the Sydney metropolitan area. Run by women for women.
In 2010, we are delighted to welcome back players from seasons past and we look forward to welcoming new players keen to join the SWBL community. With a number of exciting social events coming up to kick off the year including a stall at Fair Day and the very first SWBL Mardi Gras float, this season is promising to be a series of great games in the park!
